Catholic Church Health Services is a non-profit organisation originating from Catholic Church which has a long history in providing health care in Papua New Guinea. We provide help and create hope through our 248 health facilities every day. Our network of programs offers support to those who need it most. Every day we help the most remote rural population who are sick, dying, living with HIV and welcoming new life extending the healing ministry  mandated by Jesus Christ.

We carry out our work to change lives, envisioning a world touched by God’s mercy, a world where every individual is valued, families are healthy and strong, communities are united, poverty and needs are alleviated, and all people share justly in the blessings of God’s creation.

We do our work together with our traditional partner the National Department of Health contributing to the National Health Plans of the country. This arrangement has been in place well before and since the separation from Christian Health Services in 2016.

We report 19% of the total 815 health facilities  in the country with most of our facilities located in remote parts of the country which constitute to the percentage reporting.

As a commission under the Catholic Bishops Conference, our work is guided and inspired by the Catholic core values.
